Adelaide

Adelaide is situated between the Gulf St Vincent and the Adelaide Hills. Being the capital of South Australia, the city is also a center of arts and culture. In addition to Victorian buildings and numerous museums, the most popular attractions include the wide boulevards, the extensive parks and countless shopping facilities. In the close vicinity of the city, the vineyards of Barossa Valley, the Cleland Wildlife Park and the old German settlement of Hahndorf are of particular interest.

Barossa Valley
The most famous wine-producing region of Australia is situated some 70 kilometers to the northeast of Adelaide and offers insights into the cultivation of grape varieties during wine tastings and guided tours.

Cleland Wildlife Park
In the Adelaide Hills, this zoo is home to some of Australia’s best known animals. Here you can see kangaroos, koalas, emus, wombats, dingoes and various reptiles at close range.

Hahndorf
The small village was established in the mid-19th century by Lutheran migrants from Prussia and is now a major tourist attraction. It is situated about 30 kilometers to the southeast of Adelaide.
